Mr. Oknha Sotn Prey Chea Ind was born in Tonle Thom district, Rokar Kong village,
Muk Kampoul province (now Muk Kampuk district). The tycoon was born on Monday,
the month of Assad, in the year 2403 AD, which is on June 22, 1459 AD.
After 10 years of study, he went to study Khmer script. At the age of 15,
he learned how to translate the precepts and became a monk (Nen) at Wat Prek Po.
18, he returned to study with the preacher Prak at Wat Ounalom, Phnom Penh.
At the age of 19, he studied with Acharya Sok, Wat Keo, Battambang district
(now Battambang province).
When he was 20 years old, he asked his parents to be a monk, and after living
in Wat Keo, Battambang district for a year, he said goodbye to his
teacher and went to study in Bangkok, Thailand.
In Siam (Siam) studied for 7 years,the dynasty completed the Pali school,
the Trinity returned to the district to live in Battambang province,
then under the rule of Yatha Thorn (Nhonh). He lived in Wat Kandal,
Battambang province for 10generations, then left the seminary
to become to leave monkhood.
At the age of 65, he said goodbye to the government and returned
to live in Battambang district, but not long after, on the 10th day
of the month of Assoch, in the year of Chuot Chhasak, he fell seriously ill.
No matter how hard the children tried to find a cure, they did not get better.
He also died on Sunday, November 8, 1924 at 8:00 AM.
